The new Ergo Lite 2 weighs just 10.3kg (26lbs) complete, it has detachable footrest hangers and is a great addition to our range of lightweight wheelchairs. It has the same Aegis microbe shield and shaped seat as the rest of the Ergo range. The S-Ergo seat promotes pressure redistribution and helps prevent the user sliding down the seat. The Ergo Lite 2 still has the build quality you would expect from a Karma wheelchair in spite of its incredible lightness.
Mark Duffield of Karma Mobility said: “The self-propel version of the Ergo Lite 2 has been specifically developed in response to demand from our retailers. It is something that many have requested we launch, thanks to the popularity of the Ergo Lite transit. We always strive to provide our retailers with the best possible products and listen to what their customers require, so we are delighted to have launched our Ergo Lite 2 models.
The Ergo Lite 2 offers an extremely lightweight mobility solution without compromising strength and durability. It has the same reliable, high-quality components as the rest of the Ergo range, but every part of the Ergo Lite 2 has been streamlined in order to reduce weight.
Features include the S-Ergo seat, which offers pressure redistribution and helps prevent the user sliding down; and a three-staged braking system for greater safety and peace of mind. It also boasts Aegis microbe shield upholstery which protects the chair from odour, deterioration and staining.
